Chikudō studied with Renzan Kishi who adopted him as his son. Kishi used a painting style now called kishi which incorporated elements of maruyama, shijō and European realism but he used mostly shades of gray instead of true to life colors. This gallery shows twenty-one of his flower and (or) bird paintings. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
